NFDC Funding

NFDC produces & co-produces feature films that reflect the diversity in Indian Cinema, under the scheme titled “Production of films in various Indian languages” of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Under the said Scheme, NFDC produces & co-produces films under its extant guidelines for film production, whereby it encourages debutant filmmakers by undertaking 100% production of their first feature film and co-production of good quality films in partnership with filmmakers both from India and abroad.

Hubert Bals Fund

The Hubert Bals Fund of International Film Festival Rotterdam is a curatorial fund dedicated to supporting filmmakers in every stage of the filmmaking process – from script development to post-production.

National Geographic All Roads Seed Grants

We fund individuals working on projects in science, conservation, storytelling, education, and technology that align with one or more of our focus areas.

And we don’t just support their incredible work. We actively seek to help them network, connect, and learn with National Geographic and each other, empower them with cutting-edge tools, technology, and training, and further their impact and recognition through our storytelling.

The TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fund provided grants and professional guidance in support of innovative and compelling scripted features and series that offer a fresh take on scientific, mathematic and technological themes. The fund supported writers, filmmakers and producers from systematically excluded communities.

The Uncertain Kingdom supports British cinema by funding filmmakers whose stories tell us about ourselves. The Uncertain Kingdom supports the development of features and commissions short films.

Global Film and Media Initiative

GFMI is a Swedish-based NGO which supports the development of film activities in developing countries.

Sundance Documentary Fund

The Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program (DFP) supports nonfiction filmmakers worldwide in the production of cinematic documentaries on contemporary themes. Established in 2002 with founding support from Open Society Foundations, the program is a vibrant global resource for independent nonfiction storytelling. 

Jan Vrijman Fund

The Jan Vrijman Fund supports documentary filmmakers and festivals in developing countries. Its goal is to stimulate local film cultures and to turn the creative documentary into a truly global film art.

Roy W. Dean Film Grants

Now entering its fourth decade, the Roy W. Dean Grants fund independent feature films, documentaries, web series, and short films with budgets of $500,000 or less that are unique and make a contribution to society that, without its help, might otherwise never get made. 

Film Promotion Fund

The film promotion fund aims to provide financial assistance to filmmakers to promote their films at international film festivals across the world. Film Promotion fund would provide financial aid to the movie selected in any competition section of an International Film Festival of repute or India's official nomination to the Academy Awards under Foreign Film Category for promotional activities.

Cinereach

Cinereach is a not-for-profit story incubator advancing stories that inspire greater curiosity, agency, empathy, and understanding. We are working to reimagine the narrative process, improving how stories are made and understood. We seek to bridge the gap between social impact storytelling and popular entertainment across film, television, interactive and emerging media. 

World Cinema Fund

Founded in 2004, the World Cinema Fund was initiated by the German Federal Cultural Foundation and the Berlin International Film Festival. It quickly established itself as one of the leading institutions in the field of international film funding for artistic and innovative productions.

Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund

The Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund provided finishing funds to feature-length documentaries which highlight and humanize issues of social importance from around the world. 

Asian Cinema Fund

Asian Cinema Fund (ACF) has been an essential partner for Asian cinema with its three supporting categories - Script Development Fund, Post-production Fund and Asian Network of Documentary (AND) Fund. ACF is committed to help activate more independent film productions and to set up a stable production environment.

Genera Films has now been involved in funding over 50 short films, these have gone on to screen in BAFTA and OSCAR Qualifying film festivals and launched careers of many filmmakers. We fund at any production stage and from any country in the world.

National Endowment for the Arts

Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) provides expansive funding opportunities to strengthen the nation’s arts and cultural ecosystem. Grants are available for arts projects in a wide variety of artistic disciplines. Each discipline has identified the types of projects that are of greatest interest within this program as well as the characteristics of competitive applications.
